Nakaki Food Co., Japan

Updated: Jan 14, 2019

From the ancient days of Edo Period (1600-1868) to present day, traditional konjac food in Kyoto-Japan has evolved from a type of medicinal food )called "Sunaoroshi") into a new era of instant noodles, rice, pasta, and desserts.

Nakaki Food Co., was founded by Kihyoue Nakamura (first generation) in Higashiku, Nagoya. Since 1914, we have been cultivating and producing Konjac health food for Japan. Our raw material comes from the plant Amorphophallus Konjac (rice is from grass), which is grown in Japan's Prefectures (2000 feet above sea-level), its native home. Its harvesting time is 1000+ days (rice is 130+ days) and feeds on natural water flowing down from the volcanic mountains. Its key content contains 97% water and 3% of glucomannan, an agent that flushes calories, carbohydrates, fats and toxins out from the human body. Due to its long harvesting period and health benefits, it is Japan's most protected agriculture.

Singapore-Japan Health Food Producer

Nakaki is proud to represent the farmers and food producers of the Kansai Nakamura family clan for a historical period of 104 years in cultivation, processing and production of Konnyaku and Shirataki products. We are desirous to bring Japan's premium and traditionally cultivated 日本Konnyaku from the Prefectures, all the way into the homes of consumers/patients worldwide and let them appropriate the health benefits of becoming slimmer, healthier, younger looking and live longer days.

Together with www.sassa.com.sg, we can take our inventive cum personalized management of farming, processing, and production of Konnyaku rice and Shirataki noodles to a higher level of health focus.

We will research new ways of producing food found along with new business concepts, new partnerships, and new products, including a new strategic effort to grow Konjac responsibly and focus on health and sustainability.

As an international health co-creator, we will advocate relentlessly to consumers, health care providers and government institutions to support EAT TO LIVE as an incisive movement by constantly reminding each other to cut down on the luxury of bombarding oneself with Nutrient-deficient, high-Calorie staple food, e.g. rice and instant noodles, etc. It is a dangerous combination and one that leads to lifestyle diseases, such as obesity, diabetes II, gastrointestinal, heart, colon cancer, hyperthyroid, etc.
